Herbal Teas for Fibroids – Red Raspberry and Chickweed

Red Raspberry Leaf is often recommended for toning the uterus.  In recent months I’ve been drinking a combination of Red Raspberry Leaf and Chickweed.  I discovered Chickweed in Susun Weed’s book, Down There.  I’ve been making tea infusions with the herbs.   An herbal infusion is steeping the tea for a minimum of four hours in a sealed container.  Usually, I steep the tea overnight, and drink 1-2 cups per day.  I make about a gallon of the tea, and store it in the refrigerator.

Find a good herbal store near your home that regularly orders fresh herbs.  Some herbs, must be fresh to be effective.  Susun Weed’s book has herbal remedies for many other health issues as well.  I found the book to be very informative.  Her approach reminds me of “old home remedies” passed down through families.  Our ancestors knew what they were doing!  I’ve noticed a distinct improvement in my symptoms.  I plan to continue the herbal tea and evaluate it’s effects.  Journaling your symptoms provides a good point of reference.  Please remember to discuss herbal remedies with your physician to be sure that they will not adversely affect you or any medications that you are currently taking.

I look forward to hearing your feedback on herbal teas.  Please share any recipes that you find helpful.  Wellness is ours!

Blessings,

Sateria
