I’ve been very cognizant lately that when you’re working daily toward a goal, you fail to acknowledge the accomplishments along the way. When I look back on this year, I can smile. It has been a very good year for The Fibroid Foundation.
In March we participated in a panel for the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute – PCORI. We’ve developed great relationships with Mayo Clinic and Duke University. We are hopeful that transformative research will be achieved as a result of these relationships.
In September, we participated in a panel and exhibited at AdvaMed 2013. Being in the midst of like-minded medical innovators was truly exciting.
We will continue to press on to address this $30 Billion per year health crisis that affects 25 million women in the United States, and countless others around the world. We welcome our international followers and are excited to have broadened our reach around the globe.
We appreciate you all! 2014 holds much promise!
Happy New Year and Blessings!!
“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”
